Controling Gum Disease

If you know anyone that has bleeding gums or bad breath we have a great way to control gum disease. The first step is to get a professional cleaning. If you can't get that done right away our method will still help. The steps to better gum health are first to floss your teeth. Floss holders help those people that have a hard time flossing. The next thing to do is to brush for 2 full minutes. Electric brushes are more effective but manual brushing if done properly and for the full duration of time works well. The next thing is to clean your tongue with a tongue scrapper. If you don't have one they can be purchased at pharmacies. You can use a credit card in a pinch. The final step is to rinse with a chlorine dioxide mouth wash. We like Cloys II. Available at Wallgreens or your dentist.
If you can use a hydrofloss or waterpik with the mouth wash it will do wonders for your gums.
